Norwegian cuisine in its traditional form is based largely on the raw materials readily available in Norway and its mountains, wilderness, and coast. It differs in many respects from its continental counterparts with a stronger focus on fish and meat. Many of the traditional dishes are results of using conserved materials, with respect to the long winters.
We can teach you to make Bacalao, brennsnut, fishstew, reindeer`s beef/steak and sweet things like our famouse svele. All traditional recipes from the westcoast of Norway.
We have a old traditional timber house from early 1900, that we will invite you in to and make food with us in our kitchen and enjoy it in our diningroom.
The activity will take from 2-6 hours depending on the food you want to make.
